This trip was by far the most scenic of all my tours.

I began my ride in Montreal, traveling through Toronto, Detroit, the midwest and finally to Denver to meet my son. The moring after my arrival in Denver, a blizzard blew in and left the state completly white.

I was stranded in a motel in Denver for 48 hours until my son picked me up and trailered my bike to Copper mtn. where we spent the night.

In the morning we layered with everything we had and left copper on dry roads and headed west. The place was totally white, I mean a real winter scene, only the roads were clear. We headed over vail pass and slowly descended enough altitude that within a few hours we were able to remove some layers.  By the time we reached Salida it was warm enough for jeans and light gloves.
